Mandarmani Tour Plan

Mandarmani Tour

✈️ Based on my personal trip to Mandarmani during November. Written by Debarun Sana.

Mandarmani is a remote sea Beach in the south of West Bengal. It is nearby of Digha, Shankarpur Beach which are around 20-25 kms from this place.

How to Reach:

Nearest railway station is Digha which is connected with Howrah and Sealdah the two major station of Kolkata. It is around 30 mins from Digha station by Car. Also, Kolkata and Durgapur are the nearest airports from there you can book cab to travel to Mandarmani. It will take around 3-3.5 hours.

Best Time to visit:

Winter season (November to March) is the best time to visit this place.

What to Do: All the hotels and resorts are available just beside the sea beach, walking down the long sea beach is the best part of visiting Mandarmani. There are few seas food stalls available. Sunrise and sunset will make the day memorable. One day is enough to spend here away from rush of City.
There are many good hotels out there and you can get the details from Google Reviews.

Chhattisgarh Tour Plan

Chhattisgarh Travel Guide: A 9-Day Itinerary ✈️ Based on my visit to Chhattisgarh. Written by Debarun Sana A note on Bastar and Dantewada This itinerary spends significant time in the Bastar region, which has a real, decades-long history with the Naxalite-Maoist insurgency — the districts of Bastar, Dantewada, Sukma, Bijapur, Kanker, Kondagaon, and Narayanpur have all been affected at various points, including violent incidents as recent as 2023. That said, the situation has genuinely shifted: as of March 31, 2026, Dantewada was officially declared free of active Maoist presence, part of a broader state and central government push to eliminate the insurgency from the region entirely, alongside real tourism investment (new infrastructure, the Bastar Olympics, promotion of sites like the Maa Danteshwari Temple). This is a genuinely positive, well-documented shift — but it's also a very recent development as of this writing, and some local voices still urge cau...

This guide is provided for informational and cultural reference. Before making any travel plans, check the current advisory at travel.state.gov and consult your own government's guidance, since your nationality may carry different requirements and risk considerations.
