Bakkhali Tour Plan

Bakkhali Tour

Bakkhali is a small village situated in the South of West Bengal. It is island and situated in the sea beach of Bay of Bengal.

How to Reach:
It is around 130 kms from Capital of West Bengal, Kolkata. From Sealdah station you can take train to Namkhana. From there you need to cross river by boat and then take bus or shuttle which will reach you to Bakkhali.

Best Time Visit:

Anytime is good to visit this place. Avoiding monsoon is better due to high tide.

What You can do:

Plan for 2 days visit is enough for this place. You can enjoy sea beach in the morning and afternoon. There are lots of fresh fish stalls in the sea beach during evening. Don't forget to bargain. Try to book nearby Hotels of Sea Beach. Please check google reviews before booking. There are few good hotels out there.

I would mention to stay in the West Bengal Government Lodge there. This would be very nice stay and food out there is very good. Try some outside foods like Galda Prawn, Pomfret from various restaurants on the street. They are lovely and cheap in price.
You can take one day to visit nearby places of Bakkhali. Windmill, Crocodile Park, Henry's Island and few more places. But spending evening in the sea beach with fresh fish is worthy.

It was my first morning in Taiwan , an island that had long whispered to my wanderlust with its blend of serene temples, mountain trails, and bustling night markets. With my camera slung around my shoulder and a sense of curiosity tingling at my fingertips, I stepped out to explore a land rich with stories. Day 1–2: Taipei – A City of Contrasts I began in Taipei , the heart of Taiwan. The towering Taipei 101 stretched into the sky like a bamboo shoot, its observation deck offering a panoramic view of the city's organized chaos. Below, I lost myself in the vibrant streets of Ximending , a youthful maze of neon lights, street performers, and quirky boutiques. This is a vibrant country. But Taipei also knows how to slow things down. At the peaceful Longshan Temple , the scent of incense swirled through the air as lo...
