Bihar Tour Plan

Bihar Tour

2012 January! last few months to say goodbye the college life forever. One Saturday evening I was sitting before Computer writing few lines for Project and One of my friends came to me and said let's plan for a small trip nearby. So, we planned for a trip to Bihar (A State of India).

How to Reach: It is well connected with Air and Train. Nearest Airport and Railway Station are Patna and Gaya.

Best Time Visit: October to March is the best time visit. April to June is summer and it is very hot during Day time. July to September is rainy season there.

We had plan to visit Rajgir, Bodhgaya, Pawapuri and Nalanda during our visit.

Day 1: On the first day we visited Rajgir. There are some good hotels available here. First day spent visiting the local areas. You can visit Buddha Mandirs, Pandu Pokhar, Shanti Stupa, Jain Temple and many more places.

Day 2: Next day we went visit Bodhgaya. It is 70 kms from Rajgir. The best places to visit here are Mahabodhi Temple, Animesh Locahn Chaitya, Bodhi Tree, Chankramana, 80ft Status of Budhha, Budhha Lotus Tank and Many more. We returned to Rajgir at night visiting all these places.

Day 3: Today we headed to Pawapuri. It is 30 kms from Rajgir. There are few places to visit there. It is famous for various festivals out there.
Rajgir Dance festival: Oct 24 to Oct 26.
Chath Puja: October - November
Various arts and Crafts are available there too.

Day 4: The final destination in our list is Nalanda. The University of ancient India. It was established in 5th Century AD. You can see the ruins of the University. It is a huge campus of that time. There you can get a guide to know the significance of each of the building, how the later Emperors developed the Nalanda. The Museums out there represent the culture and lifestyle of the people back then. It would be nice and greatest experience for anyone and especially for those are coming from History background.

So, on day 4 we had a return booking to Kolkata and took Train at night from Rajgir Station to reach Howrah next day morning.

Welcome to Chhattisgarh , a place where every road leads to a story, and every story feels deeply rooted in nature and culture. As you travel through this heart of central India, you realize this is not just another tourist destination—it is an experience of authenticity, where tribal life, natural beauty, and history exist in perfect harmony. The state’s vibrant identity is shaped by a blend of tribal traditions, folk expressions, and spiritual beliefs. Festivals like Bastar Dussehra , unlike any other in India, unfold ov...

Russia Travel Guide: A 12-Day Itinerary of Culture, History, and Natural Wonders 📚 This guide is based on thorough research from official tourism and government sources rather than a personal visit. Written by Debarun Sana. ⚠️ Current U.S. Travel Advisory: Level 4 — Do Not Travel As of this writing, the U.S. State Department maintains its highest-level travel advisory for Russia, in place since 2022, citing the ongoing war with Ukraine, a documented pattern of U.S. citizens being wrongfully detained, drone strikes that have reached major cities including Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kazan, and severely limited consular support for Americans in the country. This guide is provided for informational and cultural reference. Before making any travel plans, check the current advisory at travel.state.gov and consult your own government's guidance, since your nationality may carry different requirements and risk considerations. Egypt Travel Guide

Egypt Travel Guide: Pyramids, Temples, and the Nile 📚 This guide is based on thorough research from official tourism and government sources rather than a personal visit. Written by Debarun Sana. Egypt's ancient sites are concentrated along a fairly compact stretch of the Nile, which makes it possible to see an enormous amount — pyramids, temples, tombs, and a living, modern capital — in a single well-planned trip. This guide covers the main stops from Cairo down to Aswan and Abu Simbel, plus a coastal detour to Alexandria, along with the practical detail's worth knowing before you book. ✨ Cairo Cairo is Egypt's capital and by far its largest city, and it puts several of the country's most significant ancient sites within a short drive of a thoroughly modern metropolis. Pyramids of Giza: The last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, and still the main reason many travelers come to Egypt at all. The Great Pyramid was bui...
