Best Time to Visit:

The best time to visit Bhutan is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons when the weather is pleasant, and the skies are clear, offering excellent views of the Himalayan mountains.

How to Reach Bhutan:

By Air:

Flights: Paro International Airport is the main airport in Bhutan, with flights from major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Kathmandu, Bangkok, and Singapore.

By Road:

From India: You can enter Bhutan via land from Phuentsholing, the border town in Bhutan.
From Nepal: You can also travel to Bhutan via road from Nepal through the India-Nepal-Bhutan route.

Tourist Places in Bhutan:

Thimphu:

Visit Tashichho Dzong, Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point), and National Library of Bhutan.
Explore the weekend market at Centenary Farmers Market, Changangkha Lhakhang, and Motithang Takin Preserve.

Paro:

Visit Paro Taktsang (Tiger's Nest Monastery), Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong), and Kyichu Lhakhang.
Explore the town of Paro, visit traditional Bhutanese houses, and hike to Drukgyel Dzong.

Punakha:

Explore Punakha Dzong (Pungtang Dechen Phodrang), Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of the Divine Madman), and Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.
Visit the Dochula Pass for panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Bumthang Valley:

Explore Jakar Dzong, Kurjey Lhakhang, Jambay Lhakhang, and Tamshing Lhakhang.
Visit Mebar Tsho (Burning Lake) and enjoy a hike to Tharpaling Monastery.

Phobjikha Valley:

Itinerary for Bhutan Tour:

Visit Dochula Pass for Himalayan views.

Day 7-8: Bumthang Valley Exploration

Travel to Bumthang Valley and visit Jakar Dzong, Kurjey Lhakhang, Jambay Lhakhang, and Tamshing Lhakhang.

Day 9-10: Phobjikha Valley and Departure

Important Tips:

Currency: The currency in Bhutan is the Bhutanese Ngultrum (BTN). Indian Rupees are widely accepted.
